Ok, so we're painting our exterior. There will be a darker color (red or blue?) on the window facing itself, but one step at a time. The big question today is where to place the white versus green above the dentil molding. The "doghouse windows" above should be more interesting given that it will either end up with 4 (option 1--white window, green under dentil molding, white dentil molding, green soffit) or 5 (option 2--white window, green under dentil molding, white dentil molding, green between dentil and soffit, white soffit) different "layers" of green and white in a much smaller space. Ideas? (Yes, the roof is getting replaced so please ignore it.)

Option 1 has the green on the soffit with white from the trim all the way above the dentil molding.

Option 2 has the green on the area between the dentil molding and the soffit and has the soffit as the white trim.
