Jessica, first of all turn on your private messaging so people may reach you directly. You go to edit profile, then advanced settings, then scroll all the way to the bottom and alter your messaging preferences to allow anyone to message you. Then in that same area there is a place to type of your trade list. Even if you don't have anything to trade at the moment it's helpful to let others know what your main wishes/wants are. Also write a small paragraph about yourself and your likes/dislikes as plants go so others can get a feel for your style of gardening. Once you do that, you may have more bites. Also...check out some of the newbie posts for adoption many offer seeds to help others get started. Hope this is helpful!
