There are sprays on the market that really work (and stink). Go to a garden center to see them. Or you can use a steel trap and a shotgun.

Fencing works, too, if you use quarter inch hardware wire at the bottom, going out a foot from the fence to prevent digging.

Wonder how they get coyote and fox urine? They cage the animals and collect the urine in a tray under them.

Nothing that a projectile launcher and cooking pot can't fix. :-D
