Welcome to PA. I didn't plant my tomatoes yet so you're not alone. If your seeds don't sprout this week with the warmer weather replant. Think about getting them in before the next rain. We'll forget all about this rainy season when August comes along and it's really hot. We'll be wishing for rain. Good luck with your garden.

Thank you. I did take advantage of these recent rain free days and got the potatoes in, as well as the tomatoes and peppers. No sign of sprouting beans or cukes, but since rain is predicted for the next couple days, I'll wait until next week to re-seed. Although this is the start of my 3rd summer in PA, coming from decades in southern CA, I'm still learning what I have in the yard that was planted by previous owners. Hostas, peonies, and hydrangeas on the shady side of the house, and in the back, some things that I will have to post photos of once in bloom to ask for help in ID'ing them!

In Fall consider moving the peonies to full sun if possible. You should see an increase in flowers when moving from shade to fun sun. At least 6 hrs. of sun is good for the hydrangeas. They prefer morning sun rather than hot afternoon sun.
