This house was used as a rental to three families: (i) one 2-bedroom unit in the front of main floor, (ii) One 2-level 2-bedroom unit at the back of the main floor, and (iii) One 4-bedroom unit in the basement.

There are several problems with the current floor plan: (i) Too many walls; (ii) one of the bedroom on the main floor opens to Kitchen. The first attached picture is the current floor plan.

Now I want to remove the walls to open up the space. The second attached picture is my design.

Any advice or comments will be greatly appreciated.
