I'm looking for some advice on growing trees (at the moment, Oaks) in pots for future sale (5-10 years). My question is, how do the nurseries grow their large trees? If my goal is to have trees in said time frame that are 10', do I move them directly from their small, initial containers to large pots/boxes, or is it best to move them in stages (small to medium to large to XL)? Thanks!
