Blightwatch

In the UK, there is a service offered for free called Blightwatch...which is an enormous database of users who monitor humidity and temperature (in each postal or geographical region). Since blight requires 48 hours of the right conditions, we are alerted by email when a 24 hour Smith Period has elapsed ( a 'near miss'), giving us a chance to rush out with copper sprays. There has already been 1 Smith period this year (although since mine won't be planted out for another few weeks, not a problem). Anyway, for tomato and potato growers, this service is invaluable...and is now added to a number of weather forecasting sites. Is there any such thing in the US.
