Stair reads?

What kind of rock is used on the stair treads? Is it mortared to the sone raisers?
We are trying to create something similar with a dry stack rock wall (stone is cowboy coffee) which looks similar to the walls in this picture. We are in Seattle so it would be also nice to know your source. Thanks!

Hi There,

The stone treads pictured are Pennsylvania Bluestone treads with a thermalled finish. The dry stack walls are also Cowboy Coffee. The treads rest on the level dry stack risers at the front and the back is leveled with concrete. We sourced all of the stone for this project at Marenakos Rock Center in Issaquah.
