This is the wall space I am talking about. I took other pictures so people are able to see what the rest of the room looks like.

You already have a lot of shelves on the adjacent wall. I'm not sure bookcases would look right. I always say "yes" to plants.

It's a bit hard to see the distance behind the chairs to the wall or how close the chairs are to the sectional, but I'm thinking pull the the chairs even closer into the "conversation area" . Then put a beautiful credenza/trestle table on the wall with either a large mirror or oversized picture above table. Add lamps. Yummy!

I totally agree holly, pulling the chairs in and on the table place a nice lamp... Adding a nice piece of metal art on the wall will be light and too heavy for the space . Good luck

Very nice new construction, very contemporary.

My suggestion as an artist is an accent piece. Your wall paint and furnishings are cool. Meaning they run with a hint of blue. Except two of your couch pillows.

On a sunny day everything is warm, the sun is out and the world is filled with yellow. On a cloudy day the sun is hidden away and things are cool, in the shadows are tinges of blue. The greens of nature are blue and yellow.

I think you need something warm in that space.

I just sold the one above in the last couple of weeks. I got a chance to see it hung, absolutely beautiful. If I do say so. If you like these works matted and framed they are even better.

As you can see my concept is very different. I am making a name for myself in the fine art world. Let me know what you think. I would appreciate hearing the feedback.
