Hello, again!

Hi everyone! I'm Indymom, I used to post on here a lot, but all of a sudden I was in school getting my master's degree. So, the master's degree is complete (yay!) and I finally have time to spend in the garden again! I had to take a picture of Liberty today-this hosta has done so well in our yard and is a knockout!! I just love looking at it everyday. I have enjoyed looking at everyone's posts and look forward to getting to know new hosta lovers and get re-aquainted with those who have been on here for awhile!

Hi Indy Mom, I'm just back too, been gone several years. Lots of new faces and still a few oldies. I am always happy when I recognize an old name.

And yes, your Liberty is stunning, I remember planting mine in honor of Papou, when he passed away. If my memory serves me, lots of us planted them on the same day as his memorial service, by request.

    Sally,

Yes, that's why I planted my Liberty as well! Well, I went out and took a few more photos this evening of some of my babies-some of the names I remember, some I don't-sorry about that! So, here are some more pics!

I don't remember the name of this one

The top right is Great Expectations-

Love this hosta..totally forgot it's name

    Great Expectations

    June

    Big Daddy

Not sure the name of this one...

    One of my hosta beds!

The guy with the white strip is Striptease. You have some beautiful mature hostas there. By the time mine in pots get even close to that, I have to divide them and re-pot because I cannot handle a pot larger than 3 gal. Nuts. (trade-offs for living on a small suburban lot in CA). Thank you so much for those beautiful mature hosta pics. Most of what we see here on the forum is new plants less than 5 years old. Congrats on the Masters. Methinks you get a Masters Degree for growing such beautiful hostas!

    Welcome back! : )

I've probably read some of your old posts. Nice to meet you. I think the last portrait picture, the one with turquoise center and lime green edges is Frances Williams.

Babka-Thanks for the heads-up on striptease. I also have hanky panky, but isn't as pretty. Thanks for the compliment on the hosta-I have literally left them alone and they have flourished. I don't think I even watered them regularly last summer! : 0 I'm making out a list and will justify some as a congratulations-present-for-finishing-your-masters!! Haha!

    Don-thanks for the shout out!

zkathy-Thanks for the ID. I'm looking forward to catching up on old posts!

Wellcome back. I do remember an Indymom. Good to know that you can always come back. Love your pictures but I can't imagine forgetting the name of striptease - one of my favorites:)
