Best Marble Tile Layout/Alignment/Flow?

I am planning a bathroom reno with a porcelain marble-look tile on the floor in a 12x24 size.

I've seen so many photos where marble or faux maurble is installed with no attention paid to the vein patterns and I want to avoid the totally random look. (photo from pinterest- its not horrible, but I think it could have been done better)

I know to lay out the tiles before install but my questions is, how should the tiles be arranged to look the best?

Do I want the veins to align? In what direction? Any guidance appreciated!!
