Does pest control work for bed bugs? What does?

I have some traveling coming up and have been reading about bed bugs coming home in suitcases from hotels. Needless to say, it's taking a toll on any excitement I have. Just to put my mind at ease, I'm wondering...worst case scenario...I bring home bed bugs...how do you get rid of them?

You do your research before you leave.

A few rules for you while on the road:

- Never set your luggage on the bed or floor.

- Set your luggage in the tub.

- Before you settle in your room, inspect the mattress and more.

- When you get home, unpack outdoors and then run everything through a laundry cycle with hot water wash & dry.

Jean is exactly right.....prevention is essential. Educate yourself to know what to look for in the hotel room before you unpack.
