Hello There! You have a great start to a great kitchen! Some people hate to paint stained cabinets but if you truly dislike the color I think its a fine idea. White cabinets will be drastically different than what you currently have, so to offset the white I would suggest painting the walls a slightly darker shade. Since your granite has green in it that may be a good color to introduce on the walls. you have a neutral palette and some color would really bring a little life into the space. Just remember if you paint your cabinets you can't really go back to what you had before if you decide you want to. As far as cost goes, keep in mind this can be labor intensive to be done the right way. So make sure to have an experienced carpenter,painter or finisher who has done this before. Hope this helps!

Both would look nice, so it depends on what you personally prefer. I would go with stark white cabinets like frosted white shaker cabinets and add interest with countertops and hardware. You could try even to contrast everything with dark countertops like Caesarstone Piatra Gray. You are definitely allowed to play within a concept you choose. Enjoy!

The wall paint isn’t helping. When cabinets don’t go to the ceiling it looks better if they blend into the wall. A person can only camouflage so much, especially if you don’t want to spend a lot if $$.

No to accent pieces over the fridge and stove , white is my preference for cabinet interiors as for different colored cabinets around the kitchen that is tricky and when done perfectly is kinf of fun but most of the time looks bad. If you want to add color why not just think your backsplash could be back painted glass in some color you love . I would need to see the cabinets you have chosen and the layout of the space. These things are really items that your KD should be helping with and I hope you have one and not your architect . A custom home requires a good KD from the beginning.These are a couple of ideas for the glass and the one with the gray and white IMO looks like a hodge podge and I would be sick of it in no time
