#2 reminds me of changing a diaper. Go with 1

I like them both.

I like #1 a little better. I think #2 is little loud. The black brick in the blend need to be more subtle.

The same sort of thing is going on to a lesser extend with the white brick in #1. It is poorly blended, which is contributing to that affect and the mortar was struck poorly and doesn't match throughout the house. Would recommend not using that mason.

Looking at #1, I don't like the colors of the stone and brick together. They seem a little off. The darker is better. I do love turrets.
