Most all brick manufacturers these days offer 1/2" thin brick slabs that can be adhered to proper substrate (block, backerboard, etc) and then grouted with a grout bag.

You don't have to buy an expensive system who are buying the thin brick from an existing manufacturers and marking them up.

I would advise going to your local brick distributor and asking what they offer in a thin brick or finding a brick you like and seeing if it available in a thin clad.

If you are budget conscious and a bit of DIY, you can purchase fake brick wall paneling at Lowes and then paint it the color you might want. $25 per 4x8 sheet If you just want white bricks it might work fine provided you carefully caulk the joints.
