Painter's Palette

I went to the Will Rogers plant sale today and bought something called Painter's Palette. Has anyone ever heard of it? It has a beautiful variegated leaf. I don't usually purchase a plant without doing some research, but I had new sunglasses on and couldn't read my iPhone. Now that I've had time to look into it, it seems I may have purchased an invasive plant. Has anyone in Zone 7a grown this before? Can anyone shed some light, please?
