Can't tell about Stairway. If you take stalk pics each day showing how the blooms open that may correlate to stalk pics online. I did see a couple that showed 3 open flowers spaced evenly and not bumping each other.

I have 'Swingtown' and maybe need to add 'I Feel Lucky' for continuous bloom? They both look great. ' Majestic Ruler'
also appeals to me. Thanks for posting these!

Swingtown is just filled with flowers now. I think it is more vigorous than I Feel Lucky, though the latter is no slouch. Since Swingtown starts just shortly after I Feel Lucky, I wouldn't opt for both. Here is an earlier Swingtown with Happenstance:

Beautiful as always! You have a nice selection with so many I like. Ink Patterns, That's All, Folks, and I Feel Lucky are particularly nice.

I love Swingtown & I Feel Lucky, I have Gypsy Romance & Sultry Mood, very similar looks I think & mine are very vigorous. Are they all Schreiners? I had another one in a similar color but smaller flower, not nearly so vigorous & eventually died out. Several others I really like-Class Ring, Raspberry Fudge, & Very Very Good. I have several of these too, we must have similar tastes. I don't normally like yellows, especially the deep yellows, but really like the ruffle & look of That's All Folks.

Nancy, I actually got Swingtown and I Feel Lucky because someone swiped Gypsy Romance from the hospital garden. It turned out that both Swingtown and Lucky are much more vigorous for me than Gypsy Romance.

Class Ring is a Keppel iris, as is Florentine Silk. I Feel Lucky is from Johnson.

Majestic Ruler is another one in this color range. It certainly looked good today.

Thanks for the correction. 'Aristocracy' it is. 'Purple Ritz' looks very good. I'm interested if the flowers open 2 by 2 so there's a longer period of bloom. And how well it holds its color. Looks great in your picture.

I Feel Lucky is double socketed; still has some blooms. Here's another pic of Majestic Ruler (last blooms of I Feel Lucky are at far right).

Hard to tell from pics whether my iris is Dover Beach--it was picked up at a plant sale. I did see a Stairway to Heaven in town that looked more vibrant than my plant, but it could have been a matter of location. Dover Beach does not seem to have such ruffled falls.

Poodle Parade on the left. Just Kiss Me is far right. The cool, wet weather prolonged bloom life, but also damaged blooms. But hot weather is worse.

Just to set the record straight: here is the true Purple Ritz:

I corrected my picture a few posts back. What I labeled "Purple Ritz" is actually Majestic Ruler, a vigorous grower that blooms later than Purple Ritz and is more of a violet color. My apologies. I wanted to be sure to make this correction since these posts become part of Google searches.
