Check out Carnaby, Empress Evipo11, Vancover Morning Mist, Nelly Moser, Piilu (AKA little Duckling), Ooh La La Evipo41, or Proteus (might have too much mauve) to see if any of them would work. Many pinks will fade in full sun.

Thank you for this information. I have 4 of these elsewhere and would rather not duplicate varieties. I also would like a single, not a double. I know, I'm too fussy! :-) It seems all the singles in shell pink have a distinct bar in the center. No solid shell pink. Abilene is nearly perfect, but grows only up to 4 to 5 feet. I need 8 - 10. I may end up duplicating Nelly Moser however, as it would add pink to my 'tower', be a pruning group 2 and also blend well with another tower across the pathway with only barred singles growing on it, Dr. Ruppel, Wildfire, Barbara Jackman and Fireworks. Oh, such difficult decisions for this avid clematis grower! LOL!! Thank you!
