Hello! I am working on a renovation, and trying to decide how best to utilize our mudroom space. In the attached picture, the brown squares indicate possible locations for three mudroom cubbies. If I don't do them in the hallway, I could instead use that space as a butler's pantry with some additional cabinetry and counter space. The con to putting them in the laundry room is whether it would make the space feel too tight ... or maybe it wouldn't, and it would actually help me organize the laundry while I am folding. Can I get your thoughts? Thanks!
