Get a flooring company to come and give you a quaote they will know what it isand if they can match it.

It looks like a mix of natural white and red oak planks with a clear poly-coat. As long as the new flooring doesn't have to be weaved in or directly abut the older flooring a good hardwood company should be able to come close. Good luck.

I am with Cancork. I will bet a hundred $$ it is Hickory select. "Matching" it exactly can be difficult. Hickory can vary wildly in tone, depending the time of year it was milled. Call a good floor guy.

I agree with suzyq53. I think it's number 1 common red and white oak natural with a clear coat. It's possibly random widths, but I can't tell for sure. Either way, it's a great looking floor.

I'm going with hickory (though it's stained a bit darker than the natural light color) as the white oak has a little less variation. Most good flooring companies will be able to come over and identify/match. Get an in-home consultation.
