The wild turkeys have done a good job of keeping the Asparagus Beetle under control around here. If there is that wasp around I have not seen it. Its range apparently is quite large since the universities of Connecticut, Maryland, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and others talk of them.

I have used Pyrethrin in the past but so far this year I have just been hand picking the adults and the larvae. I picked the adults daily for a few weeks after I stopped harvesting and it really decreased the number of larvae I am seeing now.

I also saw some type of ants that were harvesting the gus beetle eggs and wanted to give them all high fives :). I did not know there was a predatory wasp for the gus beetles. I'll be interested to here if anyone has tried them and the results.
