This is my current fireplace. My contractor is taking out the wood paneling and putting up dry wall. He said he could do a stone fireplace, which sounds pretty. Wondering if there are any other ideas? The room looks big from the pictures, but those are the sales pictures, it's actually not as roomy as it looks. I'm worried a stone fireplace would be overbearing/look out of place. thanks!
