What type of shake was used?

We are using red cedar, but want the Mountain Ash look. Wondering what's underneath that beautiful color.

    The siding is Cedar Valley Shingle System, Even Butt, Open Keyway
    finished with Sherwin Williams #3540 Mountain Ash stain. The panels are made of Western Red Cedar.
