Leaf problems!

last modified: 10 years ago

I noticed this leaf problem on one of several seedlings grown from last year's chineses pods. New leaves most affected, and only this plant. It looks vaguely familiar, but I can't put my finger on it (see what I did there? ).....

Maybe a fungus? Powdery mildew?. Had a problem with this last year, but had not seen it in maybe 20 years prior. Spring/summer/fall a very hot and dry climate, but I grow year round. I wondered about overwintered pepper plants and Earthboxes. It is on one of my most cherished "Aji Dulce" descendants, but I will banish it, if the rest are at risk. I am thinking of trying been oil.

Any thoughts?

Oh, and FWIW, something is munching on all of the peppers, but not the tomatoes. At first it looked like flea beetles, but lately might be earwigs.
