I try to post this before but somehow it didn't work. So if it comes out as a double post please excuse me. I am trying to get some help for my drowning peony. First let me state that I am a novice grower. This is my first time attempting to grow these beautiful flowers and shrubs. I got the plants as a memorial for a lost family members. I'm not a gardener at all but they seemed like beautiful plants that are not only sturdy but easy to grow. Well that is until they met me. Since getting the routes I have made several mistakes. For the sake of this post I will only highlight the most egregious ones. The first is that I planted the roots in the wrong season. The second is that I planted the roots in outdoor planter pots. The second and most horrible so far is that I didn't ensure that these pots had adequate training holes and thus my peony plants are drowning. The pots were outside where there is lots of sun but we got a far amount of rain the last few day. It was my plan to transplant them in the ground
