Down to two rooted cuttings (purple and pink orange)! I have no clue why they won't root! And, of course, NOW the mother plants are sulking, so I can't safely take cuttings (at least healthy ones). I can go ahead and send you these two, along with Pub. splash hybrid, if you want! Ugh, between spending much needed time with the family in between a sporadic on call at work, baby chicks developing in the 'bator, foster cats having babies out the wazoo (please spay and neuter), I am spread pretty thin, and my hoyas are not getting as much pampering as they are used to. Spoilt, I tells ya!

And Kim, I totally forgot your heuschkeliana, didn't I? Ugh. Will send it ASAP.

And klnco, I have nice ROOTED cuttings of aff. erythrostemma and sp. UT-048, which would look stunning in a pot with your mindorensis, as substitutes!

The aff. erythrostemma I have looks like this when it blooms (alohahoya aff. erythrostemma IML 1423...Pic belongs to Doug...think ours came from the same vendor):

Sorry to hear that it's been a struggle! I understand. I just missed an auction on an aff. Erythrostemma, so I am not opposed! All of those Hoyas are gorgeous and will make a beautiful combo pot! If it'll make it easier you can just send what's been rooted and cuttings of UT-048 & IML 1423, as well as the pub hybrid (this way we avoid the house panthers as well! :)) Unless you'd suggest going ahead and rooting them yourself, which is fine too!

Hey aurora! Just wanted to share a pic of some of the new growth the RHP x RHP hybrid has. What beautiful splashing on the leaves!

Do you know what the flowers will look like on this guy? Same as a regular rhp? The curiosity is killing me and I thought I'd ask since I probably have a while before I see any :)

They are a bit lighter than RHP...a darker version of 'Pink Silver', not that pink, but not RED red, if that makes sense...

Aurorawa, look what I discovered upon coming back from vacation! My mindorensis combo pot is feeling happy!! So excited :] This is Mind. Pink-Orange.

Awesome! Mine has not bloomed yet (I keep taking cuttings of it to give away/sell...it finally got a break over the summer!), but it came from a reputable vendor, so it SHOULD be pink/orange! Crossing fingers for you.

Mind. Red's leaves turn red in high light, mind. Purple has purple/purple spotted new growth, Pink-Orange is a very fast and vigorous grower for me, Yellow has very light green new growth, and the others are hard to distinguish for me.

Look at PG-12 that I got in the group order, for some reason it has put off HUGE new leaves and growth! Guess it's happy too.

In fact, all of the plants that came from Thailand are really doing great and putting off some sort of new growth vines and leaves. Celata has done the best, really just exploding since being repotted with just perlite. Very happy with these beauts!

mindorensis purple star is called that because of the flowers, not because of leaf color. All mindorensis can get red leaves in high light.

I am really glad the Thailand ones are doing well! I felt so awful opening that box and seeing all those loose peduncles and spent buds!
