Hello Tennessee gardeners, I was wondering if any of you know of any occurrences of Prunus umbellata (hog or flatwoods plum) in Tennessee. I am a graduate student that is working on collecting plants from the edge of their native ranges, and central TN appears to be the most cold-hardy provenance for this species. Could anybody give me a hand tracking down one of these populations, in particular White or Cumberland Counties? Thanks in advance!
