Salvia farenacia,... Salvia greggi. Are you asking what plants as in salvias or are you asking what other kinds of plants, not limited to salvias.

S. clevelandii looks good, as does Bees Bliss.

Think I posted in the wrong place but was interested in other types of plants that would work well with the red yuccas.......will check out the salvia though and also the others. The area I am working on is a small area so want companion plants that will not grow too big........wondering if any succulents will work as well..........have seen some aloes and agaves in pictures............Thank you for your suggestions

Amongst other plants,Basically any xeric plant.Blackfoot daisy, penstemon cobaea, P. baccharis, P. triflorus, Calylophus berlandeiri, 4 nerve daisy, Callirhoe involcrata, Salvia texana , Salvia lindheimerii, Yucca pallida, Yucca rupicola or any low yucca or agave like Afave lophantha splendid. I love a short texas native called parralena AKA Dysodia pentacheta, damianita (Chrysactina mexicana) Snake broom weed. I am drawing from the Texas bank of millions that grow well in my neck of the woods but I guess there will be many different ones that do well where you are. Hesperaloe parviflora is a Texan so I just listed what grows around it.

I do have seed for some of these that I can send But I would have to hear now because they (damianita) are going to seed quickly.
