Floribunda do very well in this area of the South (7B) despite the clay soil and drought condition. I've had zero success when it comes to rooting cuttings. I use a method of rooting hydrangeas by taking ground level stems (still attached to the bush) and burying them (less than a inch). In a couple of weeks the buried stem takes root. I'm growing a hedge, so I don't transplant the new growth, I just cut it from the host. Would this same process work with a rose bush? Thanks.
