Oh wow, I hate to hear that. I guess the cancer finally got him. He waged a good fight against it.

I have always enjoyed reading his books and magazine articles and then, later on, his blog.I suspect there's a bit of a contrarian and curmudgeon in me as well.

I expect he's earned his place in heaven too.

He had his convictions and I agree with most of them. Mostly, he couldn't care less if I agreed or not and that too is ok with me.

Johnny, You're right. He couldn't care less if anyone agreed with him or not, but that's one of the things I liked about him.

I hate that he has left this world too soon but I bet he is in a better place, and I am glad he is no longer suffering from ill health. I feel like he still had a lot left he wanted to say and am sad that he won't be here to say it.

I own one book of his, Two Acre Eden, from many years ago. Then a few months ago, Dawn posted a link to his blog which I enjoyed. Didn't know about the cancer. Now I wish I had read more over the years. Not too late, I guess. Sorry to hear of his passing.
