We see a lot of clear glass fixtures now, reminiscent to your vase. They can be really beautiful and show off the bulb within. They allow whatever is behind it to also be show cased. It looks like you have a great yard to show off as well.

However, like Carol Spong Interior Design mentioned you need to be careful about glare and putting too bright of a light. If you have enough additional lighting in this room, I would try to get an filament bulb with a wattage below 50. This way it will be more of an ambient light rather then a bright source of light for the space.

Another thing to consider is the cleaning. Clear glass shows everything. One way to help a little is to get blown glass. This has natural imperfections, so small pieces dust aren't as noticeable as perfectly clear glass.

There are a few artists on Etsy that specialize in these types of lights. They allow you to pick your cord, socket and glass. Be careful to read the reviews and get a reputable one. I have used MoonStoneFox and had positive experiences so far. Otherwise, this is a pretty popular style that should be pretty easy to find in most areas.
