love the shower tile

How is the outside corner of the shower seat finished? Is there molding or grout on the exposed corner? Thank you.

    Thank you for your question. The tile used in this shower are by Walker Zanger. We purchased them from Hamilton Parker, which is an authorized dealer.

    All of the tile in the shower is honed carrara marble. We used several different sizes. The upper wall is in a 12X24 tile and the bottom is a 3X6 tile. A row of chair rail separates the two, and it is also made out of honed carrara marble. The shower floor is 1x1 mosaic sheets. The shower seat is a slab of honed carrara marble.

    The only custom piece is the 8 inch base which we custom ordered through Castellie in Italy. Here is a link to their website: http://www.castellimarble.com/

      Thank you for your question. The shower seat was cut by a countertop company and the corner was treated like the corner of a countertop so it is not sharp or jagged.       We apologize for our confusion. The tile below the shower seat has a grout line before the edges of the adjoining tile. We realize how this could look like molding since the darker tiles are lined up against lighter tiles that almost blend with the grout. As always we hope this information was helpful.       Thank you for your interest. This is an elegant bath and we do get a good amount of inquires which I am delighted to read. The grout color is white. It might look grey due to the marble.
