Ctay83: Absolutely! The stain color used for this project was "Early American".

Ctay83: Something to keep in mind -- While in the stain color selection process, a key factor to keep in mind is the species of hardwood you have chosen. Hardwood's natural variability in density, grain pattern, and texture provoke a multitude of different looks as you go from species to species. For example: The same stain color will appear much different in an Oak species than a Maple. The Species of wood used for this particular project was a domestic Hickory. My Professional advice is to view a small area of your selected stain color in your home before approving for the entire project. Our Standard business practice at Watkins Decorating is to allow customers to see up to 6 selected stain color samples on their floor in their home. We lay out small 18"- 24" squares of the different stains, so our clients can see how the stain reacts with the species in the specific lighting of their home. Thanks for the question, and we hope you find this helpful!
