We live in South Florida, USDA Zone 10 and cannot seem to find anyone who can tell us what this tree is growing just behind our fence. It's tall and the blooms are high toward the top of the branches. The seed pod is a hard nut like shell which opens on three sides to reveal the three orange capsule shaped seeds. Do you know what this could be? Are the seeds toxic to dogs?
