Closeups of the leaves and flowers would be helpful.

unfortunately don't have. maybe of the third one I'd have to check

that's of the 3rd one

Rose of Sharon
Japanese Maple
Hydrangea
Barberry

No 4 leaves look like a threadleaf or laceleaf Japanese maple.

The third one is not hydrangea! It is Peony! It will not grow in the deep south of USA because it requires chill hours to blossom.comes in reds, pinks, purples and perhaps white and has an abundance of petals in each blossom. Would rival a rose in its beauty!

the blossoms on the close up pic looks like either cherry or apple.

#3 is a rhododendron.

#1 - Flagpole Cherry Tree
#2 - not sure but looks like a Bradford Pear in the autumn
#3 - definitely a Rhododendron
#4 - a Lace-Leaf Japanese Maple

#3 absolutely rhododendron
#2 right colour for Japanese Maple, but the leaves appear to be oval so that could not be a maple.

1. Prunus cerasifera "Nigra."

2. Acer palmatum var. dissectum "Garnet" or "Crimson Queen."

3.Pyrus calleryana "Redspire."

4. Rhododendron.

Agree with Urban Habitats...#2 definitely looks like Garnet or Crimson Queen Japanese Maple.

#1 could be a red variety of Fagus sylvatica (beech tree)
#2 definitely laceleaf japanese maple. Many varieties available - Acer palmatum var dissectum
#3 looks like a columnar ornamental cherry. There's one fromMonrovia called Amanogawa
#4 Rhododendron - many varieties available

I agree with wannabegardnr on all 4. #1 could be a Tri-color Beech (Fagus sylvatica 'Rosea-marginata)

If that's a beech tree, it is waaaaay too close to the house (or will be in a couple of years). Japanese cutleaf maple, weird cherry thing, and rhododendron.

The large bush with pink flowers is a Rhododendron. The tall skinny one with flowers looks like a cherry. The red leaved ones are varieties of Japanese maples.
