Dear Homeowner, I hope you will find a professional who will help with your dream. It doesn't have to cost hundreds of thousands unless you want it to. We added nearly 1,000 square feet for 65,000 and are thrilled! (In all fairness our home sweet home is in KS-- don't know where you are? Or cost break down there?)

Reality is not abrasive IMO I do not know anywhere where you can have 1000 sq ft done for 65.00/ ft unless it was a garage. The poster needs to find a pro in their area and realize it will cost big $$$$ to do what they want how is that abrasive.

I think it's obvious that the homeowner is looking for a professional by posting in this thread. And if she is looking for a professional, it is safe to assume she has a budget. Her budget is her business. Kelli, I suggest talking to friends to find recommendations. Or you can look professionals up on Houzz and interview them. Finding the right help is a long process.
