I'm not at all an expert on tomatoes and don't grow very many of them, but sounds to me like they got a double-whammy of shock from being kept indoors in the shade for so long and then suddenly being tossed in an environment of extreme sun and probably warmth without being gradually exposed to the new conditions.

Also, oftentimes when plants are in shock it's not a good time to fertilize them.

Yeah you can't go cold turkey from inside out into the direct sun. Read about "hardening off plants". Plus those so-called greenhouse shelf things trap so much eat under the plastic that if the sun doesn't kill them the heat will.

Yeah, You cooked them. Even a hardened off plant might wilt like that in the green house with direct sun and high temperature.

You could try taking them out of the greenhouse and putting them in the shade. Give them a good soaking and keep your fingers crossed. If they revive overnight, keep them in the shade for another day, and gradually expose them to sun.

They were in the shade for three weeks? Why? But yes, tomatoes tend to be pretty resilient, and even if the main leaves are killed, you may get new ones sprouting. What "hardening off" means is *gradually* adapting them to a new environment. Sun/heat/cold/whatever. Sudden changes in environment are big stressors on plants.

Throw them out. Start with fresh, healthy and strong plants. You will be way ahead of the game. I know they have sentimental value to you, but they are cooked.

I've repotted them in some premium soil, moved them inside and watered plenty.... Fingers crossed :-/
