Hi All!

Been thinking about y'all and thought I'd pop in to say hi! Hope everyone is well. :)

We moved from our house in North Castle Rock to South Castle Rock a little over a year ago. A lot of different reasons. Mostly because we found a great house walking/biking distance to town, friends, kids' schools (my son is almost 19! The girls are 7 and 8 now), on a great lot (about 1/2 acre) with a view, and south facing sunroom, for 1/3 of the mortgage and property taxes.

We lived with the yard for a year to follow the sun, light, etc. and are now reworking it. It sits on a sloped hill with three terraced levels that were previously 100% lawn. We'll now have one small lawn on the upper level for the kids and I'll have seven raised beds ready to plant early next week and a side yard that gets full sun. I can hardly stand the wait! I got a little coop and five baby chicks in March . :)

I was sad to leave behind all of the plants around the house that I had gotten from people off of this forum. We moved when the ground was frozen and under a layer of snow. The new owners have since scraped that house! We can't believe it!

Anyway, I'm glad to see some of the "old-timers" around. :)
