It's wood flooring in the dining room entrance and living/office.

We find ourselves in this situation many times. Years ago ceramics and porcelains didn't have enough interest because of the "print run pattern". Most tiles only had 3-4 different prints that the installer had to mix up so you couldn't see the pattern. Today we are lucky with technology, you can get 8-10 different print patterns in a run of tile. You can also get different sized tiles to really change things up. To stay affordable go to a tile supply store where they have actual displays showing the possibilities. Your foyer probably goes through the hall to your kitchen. You can choose a porcelain that has a earth tone and then set it in a diagonal pattern or you can go with a 3-piece pattern that has different sized tiles that lay nicely. I have included a porcelain that looks like slate in a subway design but I know that you may be able to find even a nice honed and filled travertine that is affordable.

Same wood flooring you have in adjoining spaces with a good hall runner . I have no idea what your style is so hard to comment on light fixture I put this one in a clients entry recently

That is very nice but I was thinking something to go with the door which is wood stain fiberglass and wrought iron. I was thinking a semi flush with some crystals. I think I'm more transitional with style. Thank you!
