    Since you have the little jetty wall there, I'd try putting the art on the wallpapered wall, then a narrow sofa table behind the sofa. A lamp on the right side of the sofa table and an art piece hung off center left of the console table. I like to mix up single art with multiple art sizes for interest. Plus, the sofa looks squished against the wall and will cozy it up being closer to the fireplace. Oh...great looking lamps always add interest and good lighting is crucial. Forgive me if I speak out of turn!

      I put up the wallpaper as an alternative to having art up on that side of the wall, but now you've got me thinking Darzy :-)

      @ Darzy. I've actually thought a couple of times to move up the sofa like you suggest, so there's flow around it, but I'm trying to keep this living space as casual and relaxing looking as possible. Great suggestions that I will definitely look into.

      aky3...there is nothing like being there in person to really see and feel the space. You know what feels right in the space. Just move the sofa a few inches off the wall so it's not looking jammed up.
