I would try to cross Merengue with Evergreen, Green Ice (looks similar to Evergreen but the flower is smaller and greener), roseum and puniceum (all of these pollens seems to be diploid and good germination).

I also have Bogota blooming, I would like to try Merengue pollen on one Bogota flower, is that OK friends?

I do not think that "Merengue" is a good template to breed from, but that's just me.

I think if I had a blooming Exotica, I might try Merengue on her. Exotica loves to produce nice plump seedpods with great seeds..unfortunately I don't have an Exotica this year, I'll have to replace mine next year, a must have. Just a thought......☺☺

I have pollens of Exotica in my fridge. I'll try for the 2nd scape!

I'm not too sure, but I may have read somewhere that Meringue is not a very good pod parent but may be a good pollen parent. Has anyone had any success with either?
