Can't comment on the ok or the safe aspects of your question because I don't know what you mean by that. Could you please explain? Ok for what? Safe from what?

As for cross pollination, that is only an issue if you plan to save the seeds. If you do then yes, you will have to prevent cross-pollination although in a GH hand pollination is often required anyway.

My fears are that:

Maybe there could be pollens going from one plant variety to pollinate another plant variety, thereby causing some undesired mixup.

But also, assuming the variety is self pollinated, will it really matter if another pollen from another variety is in the GH space?
