Yes, it is very, very frustrating to see black spot hit your roses! It's taken me many years of growing (and losing) them to understand the best culture for roses in my yard. But before I would give any suggestions, I'd really like to know a little bit more about your plants.

What variety of roses are these?

How have they been planted? Are they mulched and do they get cleaned up?

Where are they in the yard in relationship to orientation and, most importantly, sun totals?

How do they get watered?

I have a variety of roses - floribunda, grandiflora, miniatures, carpet roses, David Austins, and knock outs. A grab bag. Some do better than others when it comes to black spot.

I don't know what you mean about planting. Most are planted in the ground although I do have a few roses in containers. I mulch all of my roses every spring. I try to clean up any black spot leaves whenever I spot them, but I usually do a cleanup on Saturday mornings.

All of my roses get full sun. No shade.

I have a drip irrigation system for my roses. I do have a few in containers that I water by hand.

I spray my roses with Bayer.

Some of the roses are more prone to black spot. Maybe I should give in and get rid of the ones that are really prone to black spot.

I was struck by the early emergence of black spot.

Anything that can't live by your rules, so long as those rules are reasonable, should be asked to leave. If you are spraying, and some are getting blackspot this early, I'd definitely ask them to leave.
