She has been christened "Belle". That belly button is a small hole...which was pre existing on the plant when I got it from Chennai(mail order) and I have no doubt that someone had poked it deliberately over there....Thank you for all your suggestions..maybe belle may graduate to becoming Shakira after she puts on some more weight and branches.... Anyone else out there with an appropriate name for any of their Adeniums? They sure make some weird amd wonderful shapes, surely there must be some more hiding out there? I can appreciate giving plants names like this, but not just to give them a random name just for the sake of it......now that is weird!
