Combo Trimmer head interchange?

I have a Poulan Convertible weed eater along with 2 or 3 attachment heads and a bad engine. Does anyone know if other brands of power heads will mate up with my existing attachments as I have had nothing but bad luck with Poulan stuff over the years?

I googled around and didn't actually find anyone who had that combination. However, many of the brands will mate with expand-it. I have several expand-it tools. They have a square drive. Are yours square? That would make it more likely that the poulans will fit other heads since almost everything else supposedly does fit.
