Would a subwoofer rattle if placed in the cabinet with the mesh front?

    Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I didn't notice the question.

    No it shouldn't rattle, that is the reason for using a cloth door.

    That said, I am also using slow closing hinges, with felt bumpers.

    The sub woofers usually have rubber feet on them.

    We tried using a solid door once, if the customer turned the sound way up for effects in a movie it rattled slightly, so I now always use speaker cloth to go with the unit.

    The drawer front above it, with speaker cloth, is false and is hiding the sound bar.
