Hummingbird Garden

Sick Hummingbird? :(

Two days ago this poor little hummingbird showed up at the feeder! It seems to fly fine and even though it perches when it drinks it seems alert! :) It has no feathers around its neck and I was wondering if it may have gotten attacked by a predator? I really would love to help it if I can some how! Has anyone ever seen a bird in this condition?

I think the fact that it is flying, visiting a feeder and appears alert are all good indications that the bird is in reasonable health. There is really nothing more for you to do other than keep providing fresh nectar.

Thank you for replying! I haven't seen it at the feeder for 3 days now so I'm praying it is ok! :)

Found a hummingbird outside, it was brought in by my cat so I'm not sure if it was injured previosly or my cat hurt him. Been feeding him sugar water for two hours, took him outside and expanded its wings, but not attemp to fly yet. Is not bleeding, is making noises and place him in the cats cage. Any idea of what to do with this beautiful bird?
