Help! Would bathroom sconces over the mirror be too dark?

I'm working on selecting lighting for my kids' bathroom in our new house. There will be two sinks with a mirror over each sink. I was looking at some sconces like these - but if I go with an opaque shade like this instead of a clear glass sconce, will it be too dark in the bathroom?
