My first hydrangea

A week ago I picked up this very sad looking Hydrangea for .99 The tag says its a Merritt's Supreme, as soon as I got it home I watered it really well with a weak solution of miracle grow, a piece of it broke off and I have it in little water, How easy would it be to grow it ???? So here is my very sad looking Hydrangea that I LOVE !!!!! And I re-potted into a much larger pot. Thanks Christine
