bloom time puzzles

Hi All

I love love my alliums. My front yard is filled allium globemasters and purple sensations, Mt. Everest and Christophii. I'm in a zone 5 (Canadian). I'm rather sad now that the giants have now gone to seed. My question is what other giant alliums would bloom in early summer? I have the drumsticks which are tiny.

I have Purple Sensation and my Christophii didn't come back. I don't know of any besides the ones you mentioned. You're ahead of me. I have some Allium Nigrum, short white blooms in the fall 12-18" high. As the fall blooms fade I have these beautiful bouquets of white balls that come to life. My Purple Sensation bloomed in May and my Drumstick are just beginning to bloomm this week. Heidi
